Airfare ForecastThe professionals are seeing a softening of airfares to many European destinations. The current belief is that this last summer saw much of the pent-up travel demand satisfied. Some airfare are back to prepandemic levels. Prices remain high for destinations in Southern Europe.The timing of booking is everything and booking summer '24 travel now may not be the best idea. Consider booking in January for Spring trips and March for Summer trips. The event that will create headwinds for reduced European airfares is the Paris Olympics in late July to early August.
